There are times we find ourselves in a cold dry climate and standard down jackets are the end all be all. However, there are times when we wish our super packable down jacket was…well, waterproof. The new Ice Man is just that jacket. Using new stitch through construction found in down sweaters throughout the industry combined with packable 10k10k 2 layer polyester shell material, we have created a waterproof down jacket that is more versatile than your favorite down puffy. Now we can use our puffy camping below 10,000 feet, or zip the powder skirt back in for making laps in bounds. The key was combining a super lightweight and packable down lining with an ultra light shell. Seam tape it and call it good. One jacket for the cold weather; all year long.
